User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071008 Firefox/2.0.0.8 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.6 (20070728) as above, there is mail, dated: "12/31/1969 4:00PM" this mail will not remove there seems to be (24) of these - at least thats what the Junk mail folder says the mail with the above date returns to the Junk mail list after deleting Junk mail (manually or otherwise) this version of Thunderbird also seems to take forever to: 1) fetch mail 2) send mail 3) process any folders (internal processes) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. this is a consistent problem since installing this version of Thunderbird 2. 3. I have no idea what might be happening behind the scenes as this problem continues to live in Thunderbird The fact that this occurs and that Thunderbird is so sloooow (as noted above) causes me concern that the CPU is doing something - unknown - FYI: I DO NOT see outgoing traffic while this slowness is apparent in the user interface interaction BUT: I have NOT viewed all outgoing traffic at other times during operation to make sure that Thunderbird is not sending mail (improperly, etc)
Deleting the Junk.msf should get rid of it.
