I use Thunderbird for RSS feeds, because I like the "style" of getting them like an email, and being able to view them along with my email. However, I would like to see some improved interaction between Firefox and Thunderbird. In Firefox, I can choose to subscribe to the RSS feeds, and have several choices of what to use (live bookmarks, Google, etc). I would love to be able to have Thunderbird be able to be one of the options, so that subscribing to new feeds is literally a click in the firefox browser. Currently, I have to copy the RSS URL, then go into Thunderbird, manage feeds, and manually add the feed. I have tried "choosing an application" and pointing Firefox to Thunderbird, but it does not work. It seems that it should.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Add any feed within firefox.

I wasn't sure whether this enhancement request belonged with thunderbird or firefox, but it seems that if you passed a valid RSS feed into thunderbird, it should subscribe to it..
