User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; es-ES; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11
Build Identifier: versión 2.0.0.9 (20071031)
Having multiple identities with different signatures associated, when replying a mail, and switching between identities, having configured both signatures to appear below my text and above original mail, when switching between identites, signature will not get removed, instead, TB will pile both signatures.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create one POP3 mail account.
2. Create an additional identity for that mail account.
3. Have both identities with a signature associated
4. In Composition and addresses, select Automatically quote original messag when replying, then start my quote above original mail, and place my signature above quoted text. To get this in both identities, you will have to use Advanced Configuration and select mail.identity.idX.sig_bottom = false (where X is a number)
5. Reply a message, and using the dropdown identity switcher, change identity
You will see how signature gets piled over and over again when switching between identities.
Expected Results:
Thunderbird should be able to replace signature between identities. When you reply a message, TB automatically attaches the actual identity signature, if I do not edit the message, and change to another identity, TB should rewrite the mail removin the old signature, as it does when it is a new mail.
Isn't it possible to limit signature from the start until the end of it? so TB can manage this kind of scenarios?
