I was seeing this on a mac, similar steps as above and also with:

right click a bookmark on the toolbar.
Select properties.
Select minefield - quit.
Bookmarks dialog goes away but app doesn't close.

I wonder if this is related to bug 400479
Regression window is http://bonsai.mozilla.org/cvsquery.cgi?module=PhoenixTinderbox&date=explicit&mindate=1190928480&maxdate=1190930579 with only bug 391777 in it.

thats the js error i get in a debug build

JavaScript error: , line 0: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIAppStartup.quit]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://global/content/globalOverlay.js :: goQuitApplication :: line 51" data: no]
This has been seen on mac as well using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008011704 Minefield/3.0b3pre. I was using an existing profile on both Tiger and Leopard and I have seen it. In my case Minefield becomes unresponsive and I have to force-quit.

I'm assuming this can also cause someone to lose their session data when they eventually do restore?

I'm going to debug into bug 400479, I'm pretty sure that a fix there will fix this.

Not blocking on this bug for final ship. Would take a safe enough patch if one comes through.
