User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 When you do a Ctrl-F search and move through multiple results using Next and Previous, the found highlighted text is either at the very last line or the very first line of the page, respectively. As a result, I usually need to scroll down or up a bit to read the text around the the search term. As I continue to search, it's sets up an annoying pattern of clicking Next, mousing to the scroll bar to move a bit, clicking Next, etc. What about if the search term was always centered on the page as you continued to search? Regardless of searching Next or Previous, the highlighted term would always be centered on the page and the text before and after would be visible without needing to scroll. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Press Ctrl+F or choose Edit - Find in This Page... 2. In the Find box, enter a term that appears many times on the page (e.g. "the"). 3. Click Next to move to each instance of the search term. 4. At some point, the term will be at the bottom of the page and all subsequent clicks of Next will only shift the page enough so that the search term is always on the last visible line (or if using Previous, the top of the page). Request For Enhancement: Move the page so that the highlighted search term is centered on the page. Actual Results: N/A Expected Results: N/A N/A
