I saved very similar bookmarks and I wanted to add the same tags to them. I decided to use copy&paste method. I open the saved page, clicked a star to see the dialog, clicked 'Tags' field and right clicked on it. In the moment the field lost focus. Selecting paste command from context menu caused to replace the name of the bookmark.
Steps to reproduce:
1)Copy a text you want to use as a tag
2)Open a web site
3)Double click on a star to open a bookmark dialog
4)Select tag field
5)Right click on it and select paste
Result:
The name of the bookmarked page is replaced with the copied text
Expected result:
The text is pasted to Tag field

Regression window is http://bonsai.mozilla.org/cvsquery.cgi?module=PhoenixTinderbox&date=explicit&mindate=1195305540&maxdate=1195306559
so probably caused by bug 402501.
There was already a highlighting weirdness in this pop-up before the fix of bug 402501 was checked in; the Name field stayed selected while it was possible to paste into the Tags field and I think this should not be possible. Normally you can't focus two fields at the same time.

I don't know if it's interesting to know, but the bug that broke the correct highlighting (I described in comment 2) was bug 394887 (16 September).

I'm almost sure this is fixed on trunk, can you still reproduce this?

For me too, marking worksforme then.
Probably fixed by one of Neils popup patches.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".
In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.
Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
