Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11
Build Identifier: 2.0.0.9 (20071031)
When I receive some emails from Mac OSX users, their attachement files sometimes cannot be detached, or deleted. When I delete or detach, everything runs as if it was working, but after the operation, the email size is unchanged, and when I check the mail text file (inbox file), the data are still there, and thus not deleted.
The header displays:
...
X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.753)
...
Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="===============1134621355=="
Status: O
X-UID: 573
Content-Length: 1739382
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Thunderbird
2. Find an email sent by a Mac OS-X user
3. Try to delete, or detach an attached file
Actual Results:
The attached file won't be deleted, and its content still in the Inbox file.
Expected Results:
The attached file content is expected to be deleted from the Inbox file.

It seems closely a dupe of bug #417646.
Lyu, feel free to reopen it if I'm wrong.
