User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071128 SeaMonkey/1.1.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071128 SeaMonkey/1.1.7 I find popup windows happening w/SeaMonkey 1.1.7 despite having set preferences to block them. One of the most pernicious is NetFlix. With the url above, it may have popped up simply from clicking on http://www.quotationspage.com/ from a Google Search. I've also experienced it from some other site - and am beginning to think a connection has been made via Google itself. Needs to be stopped Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Don't know how to reproduce. 2. 3. Expected Results: Blocked the freaking popup
I don't see any popup on that page.
I can imagine you might not, Stefan. I'm not sure it was a function of that page itself, or perhaps of Google sending some kind of intermittent NetFlix popup on its own. Do know I've received that specific popup a number of times. A couple others, too, but far less frequently. My concern was with having set "block" preferences w/SeaMonkey yet having them come through regardless of; (a) the preference setting and (b) the source.
I see the NetFlix popunder occasionally also, but so after-the-fact that I'm never sure what site they've come from.

Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v2.0a1pre ? Would there be a way to get a referrer or something after it happens ? *** FWIW, I found <http://www.hackingnetflix.com/2006/02/netflix_popunde.html> Netflix Pop-Under Ads Annoy
