User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/523.12.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0.4 Safari/523.12.2 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.9 (20071031) RSS feed's denoted as: feed://www.foo.bah/ come up as invalid in this build when I tried to add them to my rss subscription. Switching feed:// for http:// makes them work. The feed:// only comes up when using safari to click through to an rss stream from it's address bar. This does not happen with firefox 2. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.try to subscribe to with an exisiting and otherwise functional news&mail account: feed://www.rsspect.com/rss/asw.xml. I got this feed link through safari 3 from the little RSS button in the link bar on: http://www.asofterworld.com/index.php?id=276 2. manually switch out feed:// for http:// 3. it then works (i.e: http://www.rsspect.com/rss/asw.xml ) Expected Results: It should have been able to support the feed:// format. Bug happens with safari Version 3.0.4 (523.12.2) Control test (works as expected): firefox 2.0.0.11
