Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b3) Gecko/2008020514 Firefox/3.0b3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b3) Gecko/2008020514 Firefox/3.0b3 The download history does not conform to the settings for history as chosen in the options menu. Mine is currently set to 89 days and the history in the download manager goes back over one year. The behavior should match the global settings. Also the year needs to be included on the dates in the downloads manager, especially if they go into the past year. It would be nice if there was more fine-grained control available for the downloads manager, such as being able to choose to show only those currently downloading files or only the past 7 days or something like that. Also status bar behavior similar to the "Download Status Bar" extension would be nice if such functionality is to be included by default. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open download manager 2.Watch the history go past the amount selected under Options>Privacy>History 3.Watch it continue to fill almost indefinitely. Actual Results: The history is not cleared at the point that it should be. Expected Results: The download manager should show no files past the amount I have selected in the History section of the Privacy tab of the Options dialog box, unless more detailed controls are available through built-in controls or some new extension.
duping to primary bug report - borderline INVALID Please file one bug per issue in the future.
