Bug 419116 is introducting a hack into nsMsgProtocol::OpenNetworkSocket to allow the default port to be set correctly for SMTP protocols (the only protocol that actually calls this at the moment).
Once we've fixed bug 419590 we should remove the hack and replace it by getting the default port from the relevant protocol handle. This will allow other protocols to use this function as well.

Bug 419116 never actually introduced that hack, therefore this can be closed as invalid.
