Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 Firefox/2.0.0.12
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 Firefox/2.0.0.12
Start firefox and open a window.
Attach a secondary display to the laptop (macbook in my case) and move the firefox window to the new display.
Click on the address bar to cause the drop down menu to appear.
The drop down menu appears on the original display, not on the newly connected one.
Restart firefox, and repeat the process and there is no problem.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Firefox on a laptop with no additional display attached
2. Connect an additional display (extended desktop mode not mirroring)
3. Move the Firefox window to the newly connected display
4. Click on the address bar to make the drop down menu appear
5. The menu appears on the original display not the newly connected one.
6. Restart Firefox
7. Repeat steps 3 & 4
8. The problem goes away
Actual Results:
As described
Expected Results:
The drop down menu should be displayed in the appropriate position on the secondary display
