To turn Password Manager on, follow steps 1 and 2 above, but select the checkbox in step 3 rather than deselecting it. _______________________________________ Then even there is no password manager,I have to say that I downloaded this nightly build version after I gould not start after a crash of the seamonkey 1.18 and after a reinstall there whas a big peace of nothing on the bottom of the screen in seamonkey with a red ^ in at the left site in the middle of the big peace of nothing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start Seamonkey 2.0a1pre 2.go to tools(gereedschappen)look for password manager. 3.No password manager 4.goto Edit menu (bewerken),prefenence(voorkeuren)open list to find the password manager to put it on but there is no password manager. Actual Results: There is no password manager in this build Expected Results: show me the password manager because it whas alsways there in eurlier versions and is still in the 1.17 version but there is also the big peace of nothing and after reïnstalling the latest NL Seamonkey 2.0a1pre version it is gone. Please help me to fix the problem because I cant life without seamonkey eurlier the Mozilla suite and I need the password manager because of the passwords that are in it.

Password manager and download manager being missing/broken in localized builds is known (see also http://home.kairo.at/blog/2007-11/source_l10n_available_for_seamonkey_trun), this is why the respective bugs are alpha blockers (see http://home.kairo.at/blog/2008-01/seamonkey_2_alpha_criteria), and this bug here is essentially a dupe of bug 390025, which will replace the L10n-broken old wallet password manager with a version that can be properly localized.
