Sounds like another problem that might be fixed by bug 359638. What keyboard layout are you using?
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW

qwerty , the keyboard is an Apple keybord aluminium
Benjamin, what about cmd+t and cmd+w?
the patch of bug 359638 was landed. please check whether this also fixed. but I'm not sure that fixes this. Because Qwerty keyboard layout should not have this bug before the landing...
I create a new profile and the shortcut is working, but I didnt had time for testing which file is the problem in the other profile
hm... ok, this should not be related to bug 359638. I recommend that this is marked to WFM. The key handling should not be changed the behavior by profile. But if some extensions override the accel keys, this bug can be happened.
No longer depends on: 359638
This sounds like a symptom of the pref browser.sessionstore.enabled becoming false somehow. The effect of that on the ability to restore closed tabs is a little counter-intuitive.
Component: Keyboard: Navigation → Session Restore
Product: Core → Firefox

I had a similar issue (on Linux), but I can't remember where/how I set browser.sessionstore.enabled to false.
OS: Mac OS X → All
Please reopen should this not have been due to browser.sessionstore.enabled being set to false (which might happen when disabling Tab Mix Plus without re-enabling Firefox' own Session Restore functionality first).
