Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open bookmarked site 2.See urlbar star icon color is yellow 3.Right-click on a star Actual Results: Toolbar context menu is displayed Expected Results: Probably it's better to delete the bookmark.

I worry that users would right-click the Star, hoping to get a context menu, and find that their bookmark has been deleted.
I'm with Jesse, I think right click should always open a context menu or other options. If anything, left click should delete star to be consistent with star behavior in Google Apps. I kinda like double left click to delete ... one click opens the menu, a second click with the menu open removes. No need to move the mouse.
agree with Jesse, right click on an active star could at a maximum open a context menu with bookmark's options, the same context that you would have on the bookmark itself, but it doesn't feel so useful to me, you can double click e choose remove bookmark, that is quite good by itself. so voting for wontfix.
Agree with Jesse. Bug 424044 is a RFE for a specific context menu for the icons inside the location bar, such as the star, and having "Remove bookmark" in the context menu seems like the way to go.

We will never do this. Ever.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
