I've the same problem.
Sometimes, FF3 doesn't print the first page or the first 35 rows.

Hideo: Can you try printing to the cups-PDF pseudo-printer, to rule out print-driver issues? (The cups-PDF printer works for me.)
1. apt-get install cups-pdf
2. System | Administration | Printing
3. Open "New Printer"
(Note: In the wizard that appears, "Use A Detected Printer" should already be enabled, with "Virtual PDF Printer" selected below it.)
4. Click Forward on the Wizard (using default "Virtual PDF Printer")
5. On the next screen, select Manufacturer = "Generic" and Model = "CUPS-PDF Printer"
6. Click "Apply"
Then, try printing to this printer (listed as "CUPS-PDF-Printer") in a recent nightly. The resulting PDF appears in a new "PDF" directory in your home folder.
This works for me using the 20080416 nighlty, selecting the whole first line of both attachments mentioned in comment 0.

Thank you for a detailed explanation.
I installed CUPS-PDF and tried to print 2 testcases by CUPS-PDF.
2 PDF files are created in ~/PDF directory.
Both of 2 PDFs seem to be also correct.

Print selection now works for me in both test cases.
