If I have two tabs open, FF will warn me about closing and will restore the tabs the next time opening. If there is only one tab open, this tab will not be restored. Current workaround if I want to remember a single tab for the next session is either making it a bookmark or open a second tab and close FF. While there are a few remarks about this I couldn't find anything about this specific issue. The easiest certainly would be a menu entry: File - Save Session and Exit, which would allow most people to close a single tab FF without query (by just closing it) whereas people who want (one or more) tabs remembered could use this option.

Don't know if this should rather go under "Enhacement"?
