User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008043010 Fedora/3.0-0.60.beta5.fc9 Firefox/3.0b5 Build Identifier: thunderbird-2.0.0.14-1.fc9.x86_64. I use thunderbird with an imap account. Often, when I start thunderbird, it will show an empty inbox and have to re-download all of my mail messages. As I have thousands of e-mails in my inbox, this takes a really long time. I have also run into another issue which may or may not be related: Often, when deleting an e-mail message, the next e-mail message becomes blank and shows a date of 1969. If I open a different folder and then go back to my inbox, the blank message is ok again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.see above 2. 3. Actual Results: some messages are blank and some have weird date as well. Expected Results: no problems
(forgot to admit that this is originally Fedora bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=243869)
12/31/1969 7:00pm is what tends to appear in my bosses spam box regardless of it's deletion.
I have the same problem. I am on a MAC with Leopard. And my university account gets mit these empty messages from 1969 as well. Even If I delete them in my trash, they reappear in my inbox if I go back to it. I get them since 1-2 weeks now and it is annoying. Especially if the message is marked as unread and I have to go through all my messages in my inbox to find it!! Usually it comes along with double emails and its hard to find the right one to delete. :(
Oh, and it is the german TB version with the latest update.
