i realized that it is not possible to drag the different accounts around the account central/pane to re-arrage their position. i am not referring to different account folders (inbox, sent, drafts). i am referring to the whole account itself. this is useful is users want their accounts to appear in a certain way. by default, accounts are placed according to when they were set up. in my case, i setup my feeds first before gmail, so now, i have my gmail account all the way down there, which i would like to stay on top of the list of accounts.

thunderbird, should allow accounts to be rearranged from within Tools>Account settings. i understand that dragging accounts in the account cental can cause problems (folders getting mixed up), so i would think that it is safer to have users rearrange the accounts from within the account settings. something like "move up" or "move down" perhaps.
