User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14 Build Identifier: Just like the footer of the emails, it should be possible the have the $diffs part of notification mails (the "who changed what when" part) in other languages than english. Especially when you use localization packages (we use germzilla), it is very inconvenient (and bad for user acceptance), when the status and resolution names are different (i.e. the english defaults) than they are using the GUI. As you can see in the example below, part of the message is in german, part is in english: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://lix6/bugzilla/bae/show_bug.cgi?id=459 phil <ph.z@gmx.net> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|REOPENED |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED --- Comment #4 from phil <ph.z@gmx.net> 2008-05-19 17:25:38 --- nochmal genehmigt. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install GermZilla (or probably any other localization package) 2. Set "Language for Emails"/"Sprache für EMails" to "de" (or whatever you have installed) 3. Produce a notification mail Actual Results: The $diffs part of the email message (who changed what when) is always in english Expected Results: It should be localized, like the rest of the message. I would really like to see this fixed, as it quite annoys our users. As I don't know any workaround, I leave the severity "normal".
Summary: The $diffs part of notification mails should be in then recipients preferred language. → The $diffs part of notification mails should be in the recipients preferred language.
