User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0 When I open firefox, I like that it opens all the tabs I was using from last time. Then, it ask for proxy authentication. 20 TIMES. ONE FOR EACH TAB. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Configure a proxy for authentication 2.Configure Firefox to open all the tabs from last session 3.Close Firefox w/ many tabs (10 I suggest) 4. Open firefox. It will ask for proxy authentication 10 times. Actual Results: Have to type proxy authentication many times. Or click ok many times if password is saved. Expected Results: Proxy authentication only once I use a proxy server. When I open firefox, I like that it opens all the tabs I was using from last time. Then, it ask for proxy authentication. 20 TIMES. ONE FOR EACH TAB. Why ? Any possibility that I could use one username/password for each ? I dont tink so. So, my suggestion is to add some smartness to this software. Ask for proxy username/password only once, like IE does.
