Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create comment pair. 2. Insert unclosed starting comment tag between start and end tags of comment pair. Actual Results: End tag displays on screen, as well as the text following the lone comment starting tag. Expected Results: Lone starting comment tag is ignored as text as it is not the first. Discovered bug while maintaining closed-source e-commerce database. This issue cannot be worked around on the web designer's end.

This issue is NOT resolved as of Firefox 3 RC2. Note: This page has been checked in Opera 9.5, Internet Explorer 8, Safari 3 and Amaya 9.99, each of which displays the page as it should be.
