Combining border-collapse:collapse on a table + overflow:auto/height on a tbody + background-color on the tds can result in the background color (but not the td contents) being shown where the table cells would be if they weren't hidden.

Yet another one of the infamous border-collapse bugs.
I doubt it's an entierly new bug, but I can't tell wether it's a dupe or not.

You can work around it if you put the table into a div element with the same height and overflow:hidden.
