From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.72 [en] (Windows NT 5.0; U) BuildID: 2000070220 Table is created OK but the contents are not formatted correctly, the rendering engine appears to be ignoring the tags completely. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have a look at the URL in question 2. 3. Actual Results: Outlne of table is OK but the only formatting is the text being centered, which it shouldn't be anyway! Expected Results: Have a look at the following (MSIE, blech!) screenshot of how the page should look: http://www.wibble.co.uk/images/wibble-uk-main-index.jpg It could be my HTML, but unlikely - this worked in Mozilla up until around build 20000628xx
Could be a problem with the whole <TABLE> system, see http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/world/asia-pacific/newsid_816000/816589.stm as another example of incorrect formatting.
i have a testcase for this one. this might be a dup of bug 44395.
Fixed </b> - still being displayed wrongly however in this case.
Yep, error on my part. Other browsers are more forgiving of mistakes in HTML than Mozilla it seems (at least recently anyway). Future feature idea would be to highlight errors in HTML with the view source.
