User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061017 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061017 Firefox/3.0 I use Firefox 3 (and previously 2) in both 64 bit Linux (Ubuntu 8.04) and Windows XP SP2. It tends to be confusing that in Linux "Preferences" is in the Edit menu but in Windows "Options" is in the Tools menu. Wouldn't it be easier to put the menus in the same place in all operating systems? Or, if this is an attempt to normalize the windows to those more common in the operating systems, could the Preferences/Options be placed in BOTH the Edit and Tools menus in both operating systems so they would be easier to find? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Firefox in Linux 2. "Preferences" is in the Edit menu, not the Tools menu 3. Open Firefox in Windows 4. "Options" is in the Tools menu, not the Edit menu It would be nice if the menus were consistent. The rest of the items are in the same spot.
