User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070206 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: While running the vanilla MU (2.0.0.14 => 3.0) I noticed that the links in the EULA opened up within the update window rather than in a new window. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run a 2.0 to 3.0 MU 2. Go to the EULA page in the update window. 3. Click one of the links. Actual Results: Link opens up within the update window. Expected Results: Should open up in a new window. Found while running Litmus testcase #5094.

What did we do for the major update from 1.5 to 2.0? i.e., is this a regression?

Also causing bug 432798? Is this just a matter of setting the window target properly in the HTML snippet we're pulling for the EULA?

The issue is still present in Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.2pre) Gecko/2008081404 GranParadiso/3.0.2pre

I just tried with the latest set of builds for which a test major update is being offered (2.0.0.16) and clicking on the links in the update dialog window open new browser windows.
After talking to Aleksej I retested this on Linux, the platform where the problem was seen in a duplicate Bug 432798, and the problem is still present in Fx3.0.2pre (Linux). In comment #6 I had tested on WinXP.
