I upgraded to Acrobat Reader 9. I then tried to print a pdf from a website using Firefox. The printing came out garbled or nonsense printingeventhough it looked ok on the screen. I saved the document and then opened it from my PC and it printed fine. This happened 3 times so far. I did the same thing using IE and it printed perfectly from the browser. This makes it a Firefox copatability error with Acrobat Reader 9, right?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a pdf document from a website.
2.Choose File - Print.
3.Printed document comes out garbled - looks like Russian language - not English.

I have the same problem with Firefox (FF) 3.5.2 in combination with Acrobat 5.0 (full version). Obviously this problem exists since FF 3.0, as another thread posted that this problem didn't occur with FF 2.x.
Now, when you print using the "Acrobat Destiller" instead "Acrobat PDFWriter" (file - print - properties - select Acrobat Destiller) the printing is also perfect, but the Destiller module ist only available with Acrobat professional versions and not part of the Acrobat Reader.
Developers are really recommended to sort out this bug, as many are still running elder Acrobat PDF versions, and it makes obviously an difference converting with the free available Acrobat Reader or any professional version.
