Steps to reproduce:
-> Start a Debug Build
-> Go to http://www.double.co.nz/video_test/test1.html
-> Play Video 1 
-> Exit Firefox while this Video is playing
-> Hang/crash on Exit

as example on Windows XP the Firefox process stays active in the task manager and consumes the free CPU cycles. 

Reproduced on Windows and Mac 10.5

This no longer seems to occur on a trunk build. Possibly due to the shutdown deadlock fixes from bug 449159 from looking at the stack trace. Can you confirm if it is still an issue?

yep its now fixed by the patch from bug 449159 , confirmed with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2pre) Gecko/20081113 Minefield/3.1b2pre
