Checked in again; I accidentally enabled SSE2 on linux (which we can't do until bug 410509 is fixed), and on purpose on win32. sse2 seems to have some rounding issues though, so disabled it for now on win32 as well until those can be resolved.

I think either this or bug 430061 caused significant tp regression on linux.
