Sometimes when I go to apply a label to an email, the screen blinks. This happens on both of my OS 10.5 machines, and only in Firefox 3.
I haven't figured out a pattern, but it MOSTLY happens when it's a new email. It happens both in the "Inbox" screen, when applying labels to multiple emails and in the read message screen when applying the label to just that message.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open gmail
2. Select a new message thread
3. Select "More Actions"
Actual Results:
Screen blinks, but otherwise continues to function

Expected Results:
No blinking

I always use tabs, so I'm not sure if it also happens when there aren't tabs.

Is this the same thing as bug 456283? Your build is a lot older then the regression range though.
