As a video is buffering, nsIDOMProgressEvent events are dispatched showing the progress of the download. event.loaded has an increasing value, but event.total is always 0... Seems nsOggDecoder::GetTotalBytes is not implemented.
This makes it impossible to implement a useful progress display. We know we're receiving data, but not how much is remaining.

If anyone gets to this before I do, bug 449159 changes this area quite a bit in a refactoring of the code and it would be best to work from that to avoid merge headaches.
