See test_bug420863.html for protection against this. For some reason, when the event listener is removed, the accessible gets invalidated.
Marco, few additional details please, steps to reproduce.
I believe this is fixed with our new actions/events handling infrastructure. At least I haven't seen any test failures in this area any longer. Closing as WFM.
