On Windows I do see some weirdness on your second URL ( http://alex.thefrapp.com/avatar/Gnome-dev-cdrom-audio.svgz ): a missing music note! I see the note only appear after zooming in a few times. Is possibly not related but it regressed on 10 Sep 2008, probably from Bug 450340.

On Mac, the first testcase is always green, but the audio-icon testcase just shows a black box.

Did the check in for bug 459512 fix this? The music testcase does have features that would be fixed by that bug.

No, It's still broken on my Mac. Could this be because I'm on a PPC system?, I've asked some guys on Intel systems and it renders fine for them (I haven't been able to find anybody else with a PPC system)

That's bug 457486. Resolving as fixed by bug 459512 check in since it works on Intel.
