User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3
After opening FF with a saved session, or after a crash, where proxy authentication is needed, each element requesting proxy access will create a proxy authentication dialogue.
I not restricted to newer versions - All previous versions of FF appear to exhibit this behavior.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable a proxy requiring authentication.
2. Save a session with multiple tabs.
3. Reload FF.
Actual Results:
A Proxy Authentication dialogue is produced for every instance of a proxy access.
Expected Results:
A single Proxy Authentication dialogue should be produced. Further dialogues should not be produced until the first has been dismissed.
Additionally;
As these dialogues are modal, for multiple access requests, instances where a second dialogue covers another, yet the first must be dismissed before the second (which is covering in the foreground) can be.
