User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2pre) Gecko/20081011 SeaMonkey/2.0a2pre reconfigured by user.js v1.1 Build Identifier: http://mxr.mozilla.org/comm-central/source/suite/locales/en-US/chrome/common/help/mail_help.xhtml In the above file, the text "In this section:" is missing from line 1990. There should be *five* preset views also including "Has Attachments" on lines 2359-2361. The following account settings and preferences descriptions need updates to confirm with the present dialog panes: ...download your Inbox for offline use... lines from around 3070- ...Offline & Disk Space category for an IMAP... 3961- ...automatically delete newsgroup messages... 4046- ...messages determined to be junk... 4807- ...use this default character encoding... 4921- "Configuring Your Security Settings" is not the actual heading linked to on line 63 in http://mxr.mozilla.org/comm-central/source/suite/locales/en-US/chrome/common/help/mail_sec_help.xhtml Reproducible: Always

> ...Offline & Disk Space category for an IMAP... 3961- The use of "Offline" for IMAP has been partially replaced by "Syncing", which may still be subject to change per bug 478605. Also, the placement of the sub-section starting with "The following settings help to save disk space and download time" suggests that the retention period only applies to the News settings, whereas they are equally present for POP and IMAP accounts as well. It may be the easiest to just add a sub-heading "Retention Policy Settings" and add this as a 4th item to the linking table at the begin of the section. For POP and IMAP, a sentence should be added clarifying that the policies apply to both local and remote copies, though that's less ambiguous now after the labels have been adjusted per bug 410597.
I plan to cover comment #1 in bug 474525.

Quoting stefanh in bug 489169 comment #3 (add this to the to-do list above): > I see that the Composition & Addressing section lacks an intro. That is, some > sentence about what the settings does and a "If you're not already viewing... > part" - for some odd reason the Addressing part has this instead.
> ...download your Inbox for offline use... lines from around 3070- > ...Offline & Disk Space category for an IMAP... 3961- > ...automatically delete newsgroup messages... 4046- These items - including comment #1 - were taken care of in bug 474525. The intro mentioned in comment #3 was added in the patch for bug 489169.

While just adding bug 221259 to the list for the definition of security terms, I've noticed that clicking "Help" in the Account Manager's Server Settings lists "SSL" only (which is now SSL/TLS per bug 350314), but not STARTTLS. In the description for the SMTP server, as updated by bug 185662, "STARTTLS if available" should be removed as it is no longer offered in the menu. Also, port 587 should be mentioned (465 is for SSL) as now commonly used submission port.

Around line 3864 in Copies & Folders, need addition to archive-folder selection after bug 482458 implemented that UI for SeaMonkey as well. This is subject to any further changes or addition indicated in TB tracking bug 473212.
