Open URL. Try to interact with page after painting first visible content.... EXPECTED: Fennec panning/scrolling UI should respond to user requests... ACTUAL: Fennec freezes for a long time
interruptable reflow should have made this work better
I know this is an old bug on a different platform, but just want to say I'm still seeing the behaviour. If there is a specific bug for this somewhere else relating to fremantle/N900, please just point me that way. This is still a huge irritant as of 1.0b6pre. Sometimes loading a page (whether heavy or light doesn't matter - just time waiting may differ - usually) can keep me waiting for minutes on an N900/fremantle. Microb on the other hand has no delay and much more responsive. As of today, if I am in a hurry and don't have time to test or take advantage of fennec's features, I have to use microb, which will load, fully render the page and then I close (usually faster than Fennec takes to load), but definitely this lack of responsiveness can last a long time when in a hurry or just generally using. Takes me back to the 90s :-)
e10s and xp-layers have "fixed" this issue
