User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2pre) Gecko/20081015 Minefield/3.1b2pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2pre) Gecko/20081015 Shredder/3.0b1pre ID:20081015031353 When trying to read a posting containing special characters (e.g. German umlauts ä. ö, etc.) whithout having the content-type properly declared Shredder crashes immediately. This has only started with today's nightly build, yesterday's build (20081014) still was ok. This problem has also been reported for today's Seamonkey build on Linux. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a test posting containing special characters but no proper content-type declaration 2. try to open in Shredder 3. Actual Results: Shredder crashes Expected Results: Posting should be displayed using the defined default character decclaration. This problem has also been reported for today's Seamonkey build on Linux.
