When I try to read the attached email message, either by selecting it from the thread pane or by opening a saved version of it (which I saved from Thunderbird 2 on Mac) via File > Open Saved Message..., the latest Linux trunk nightly of Thunderbird [Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2pre) Gecko/20081015 Shredder/3.0b1pre] crashes, generating the following crash report:
