Over in bug 456439 I'm adding a link from the new about:rights page in Firefox to our privacy policy. The current suggested link is:

http://www.mozilla.com/legal/privacy/firefox-en.html

this redirects to a localized URL like:

http://www.mozilla.com/xx-YY/legal/privacy/firefox-en.html

The "-en" bit at the end doesn't make sense -- I don't think we want to be explicitly linking to the English version of the policy. Seems like we want the localized version, if it exists, and to otherwise fallback to English version. Ideally, Firefox would just link to "http://www.mozilla.com/legal/privacy/firefox.html", and the server can figure out the all the localized details.

Reed suggested linking to just http://www.mozilla.com/legal/privacy/, but that's currently a bareboones landing page without real content (you then have to click another link to see an actual policy). I'd rather not do that.
It would make more sense to link to:
http://www.mozilla.com/legal/privacy/firefox/
I think these redirects are in place. Reopen if I'm mistaken.
