Do you mean the "Properties" menu item? I think it was deliberately omitted when the context menu for video/audio was first implemented, since its utility was questionable.

Yes, I corrected the title.

In fact, I faced a non-working <video> element and I was wondering why it wasn't working. I right click hoping to find a Properties entry to get its name, but finally needed to look at the source to get this basic information.

Yes, the original patch in bug 449522 included a Properties menu item, but it was removed as Gavin noted.

The Properties window included in Firefox is terribly bare-bones... I'm not sure it has useful info for regular users, and advanced users are more likely to be using Firebug.

It would be great if video's properties could show the resolution and the duration of the video, and only the duration for audio.

It will be useful with Gstreamer to show the codecs.
