ATM if private browsing mode (PBM further) is enabled, file download location is always default (desktop for me).
I think it would be better if FF would remember last file download directory (and start in it when choosing where to download) UNTIL PBM is exited. On PBM exit - forget the directory.
This is really frustrating when you want to download lots of images (e.g. gift idea images) to a specific folder, but you have to select it again and again and again.
