User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_5; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.27.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.2.1 Safari/525.27.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-GB; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20081204 Thunderbird/3.0b1
Advancing to new message in another folder via keystroke (n) doesn't advance the folder view pane on LHS. In the message pane and the contents pane on the RHS, the correct message is displayed, likewise the title bar along the top displays what folder I am in, but the folder pane doesn't budge.
- Verified that it works in Shredder Alpha 3
- I use the Nostalgy plugin but run in --safe-mode to be sure (and verified it was disabled)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. mark a message as new in a folder that require scrolling from the Inbox in the folder pane
2. goto Inbox
3. press 'n' to advance to next new message
Actual Results:
TB advances to new message but folder pane is not updated
Expected Results:
TB should move folder pane to display what folder is selected.

Confirmed on linux/trunk.
Fallout from the non-rdf message pane i suppose.

The T key ("Next > Unread Thread") also no longer scrolls the folder pane, at least in RSS accounts. (TB3.0b2).

Confirmed on OSX as well, with last night's nightly TB 3.0b3pre build (Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b5pre) Gecko/20090517 Shredder/3.0b3pre)

definitely wanted - this is annoying, and shouldn't be terribly hard to fix.

It should be fixed in bug 465269. I tried the 'n' key, but not the 't' key. I'll test that tomorrow.

"n" and "t" scroll the folder pane for me on trunk, as of commit a06095d0da3d.
Later,
Blake.
