Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Whenever I try to type a new address into the URL bar, instead of navigating to the website in question, Firefox redirects me to an address like this: jar:file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/chrome/en-US.jar!/locale/browser-region/region.propertieswww.woganmay.com ... instead of actually taking me to the site, and this new url results in a 404. This seems to happen at random, whether or not I select the address from the autocomplete popup. Navigating to sites by clicking on hyperlinks seems to work just fine, though. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter URL that you've never entered before 2. Press enter 3. Actual Results: Firefox redirects to a broken jar: url and gives me a 404 error. It does not crash, however. Expected Results: Navigated to the supplied URL.
We've seen this issue before in bug 453288, but aren't able to figure out how it's happening and can't reproduce. If you could help us debug, that'd be great - I'll followup there.
