Calendars should have the same tick box option so that the colour can be set to (none). In that case, the colour of the event category would be used for highlighting the event. Otherwise, with two sets of colour settings, the colour of the Calendar dominates, and the colour of the event category is shown as a much smaller rectangle to the right of the calendar colour. I'm requesting the following two enhancements to add greater flexibility in displaying and creating Events within Sunbird. * Default Event Category * Similar to the colour option suggested above, a calendar would have a setting for a default category of event. This would use a "Use Default" tick box (no tick = (none)) and a field that shows the default event category (picked from the definitions defined under Sunbird's Options dialog) that would be used when an event is created and that calendar selected. e.g. A Calendar called "Business Contacts" might have a default of "Clients" This merely affects the category initially picked when a new event is created while that particular Calendar is selected.
