User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2) Gecko/20081201 Firefox/3.1b2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2) Gecko/20081201 Firefox/3.1b2 Firefox is storing username/password for the domain (24.234.139.36) rather than for the entire url. This results in the username popping up in all kinds of unexpected places. Both IE6 and IE7 handle this correctly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.After displaying page http://24.234.139.36:57772/csp/sys/UtilHome.csp and putting in the username and password, Firefox prompted to remember the username/password. 2.However, after storing the username/password Firefox now displays the username on all pages at 24.234.136.36, not just the original page. 3. Actual Results: As above. Expected Results: I would expect Firefox to store username/password combination's by the complete URL of a page, not just the domain.
Version: unspecified → 3.1 Branch
What about domains that have multiple entry points, different urls that ask for the same username/password, I think it's an enhancement there. Most domains have a single login for all their pages, so this for me is wanted.
