I found a problem with quick search and mails that have a subject with a line break in the message source (e.g. Bugzilla Mails for bug 360488). The subject from the bug looks like this in the message source: Subject: [Bug 360488] [META] MailNews: Features and bug fixes we want to port from Thunderbird I wanted to search for the bug typing "port from" in the quick search field, but it didn't work. Searching for something in the first OR second line works, but not over the line break. IMO quick search should allow searching for the whole subject line, ignoring line breaks (like Tools - Search Messages already does).

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090123 Shredder/3.0b2pre shows the same problem.

I believe this would be a dupe of bug 124641
