DPI information stored in PNGs is not obeyed (i.e. 96dpi and 300dpi images with the same number of pixels are shown as the same size when no other size is given).

The page consists of two colored square images absolutely positioned to the same spot near the top left of the page. The top image is green, 50px at 150dpi. The bottom one is red, 100px at 300dpi. These images /should/ render at the same absolute size on a computer monitor. However, as of 2008, most user-agents will not obey the dpi embedded in the image files, thus making the red square twice as large as the green one, and showing from behind it.
