However, if I start typing (a single letter will do) this will break the ALT+TAB key combination and I am unable to switch applications without using the mouse. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open two or three unrelated windows. Test Alt+Tab to ensure it lets you switch between them. 2. Open Firefox. Type something in the search bar. 3. Test Alt+Tab again. It won't work. Actual Results: Literally nothing happened. Expected Results: Control should have been passed to the OS (so that it could handle my Alt+Tab request and show me a list of currently running applications). I was using the default theme. I run Ubuntu 8.10.

Confirmed on Ubuntu 8.10. This is a Linux only bug. Windows and OS X don't show this behavior.
