User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6 When resotring a saved session behind a proxy that needs authentication, Firefox asks for proxy auth for each tab restored. Asking once should be enough and would make opening a new session and restoring a saved session more similar as proxy auth is not requested again when opening additional tabs after proxy auth as been entered once. Right now, proxy auth is available to all tabs already after it was entered once, but the dialog asking is presended several times. It is possible to fill in one of them and cancel the others, the press reload on all tabs that have not been restored yet due to pressing cancel and the will get restored, too. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set up a proxy that needs authentication (username + password) 2. Open a webpage through that proxy -> FF will ask for proxy user + pass 3. open additional pages -> FF will not ask for password again 4. close and restore the session -> FF will ask for password several times Actual Results: FF asks for Proxy user and password several times (once per restored tab). Entering it once and cancelling the others is enoung to make proxy auth availabel to all tabs, but those that have been cancelled need to be reloaded to restore. Expected Results: When restoring a session, I would expect to be asked for proxy auth once, and after entering it all saved tabs should be restored using that password.
