Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.19 (20081209)
IMAP folders using GMail do not update after right clicking on the account, clicking subscribe, clicking refresh (correct current folders are shown), then clicking OK (tree retains old folder list).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open GMail IMAP in Outlook & the same account in TB
2. Delete a folder in Outlook
3. Try to refresh the folder view in TB
Actual Results:
Folders will not refresh
Expected Results:
1. When clicking on a removed folder, TB should be smart enough to automatically refresh the folder view.
2. When clicking on Refresh in the Subscribe window, TB should be smart enough to detect folder changes and apply it to the main view.
To get around this bug you need to hit refresh then Untick then Re-tick one of the subscribed folders in the Subscribe window, to get TB to register a setting change it needs to apply, then click OK.

As I wrote Bug 481142 Comment #2, phenomenon was observed with both delete and rename by other client. And recovery with Tb trunk looked to be slightly harder than Tb 2. Can you test with Tb nightly latest-trunk?

See Bug 402793 Comment #1, get IMAP log and check IMAP level flow.

By the way, read Gmail Help documents pointed in meta Bug 402793(especially one pointed in Bug 402793 Comment #12) before report problems occurred using Gmail IMAP, please.
The bug reported here is not caused by GMail not automatically refreshing multiple IMAP clients.
When TB syncs when doing a "subscribe", it gets the latest list of folders from GMail correctly, it just won't implement them in the folder tree view unless something in the "Subscribe" window is manually changed.

Removing "Blocks: 402793", because it is never Gmail IMAP related issue.
I think this bug is DUP of Bug 481142(because this bug is for "delete" case, no "new folder" in this bug's case), but setting dependency to Bug 481142 instead of DUPing.
